Subtitles are PGS, if you’re using MPC-HC + xy-VSFilter + madvr, subtitles won’t work (at least i tried and didn’t work). I use PotPlayer + madVR or MPC-HC + madVR for watching Anime (no problems here). If you’re not familiar with potplayer visit ”playback” page.
